  If as part of your image capture process you need to stamp your finished PDF documents with dates, user details, barcodes or variable text then add the easily configurable Page Stamper

• 1. Using the template window

  The template window (displayed on the left hand side of the Page Stamper window) provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to move, select and manage the zones where stamps are placed.
  

  Moving  a stamp

  
  Move the mouse to the zone you want to move so that the mouse pointer changes to a crosshair. When the crosshair is displayed it is then possible to move the zone by using the left mouse click and then dragging and dropping the zone to another position.
  
  

  Removing a stamp

  
  Move the mouse to the zone you want to move so that the mouse pointer changes to a crosshair. When the crosshair is displayed it is then possible to remove the zone by using the right mouse button and selecting Remove stamp
  

• 2. Load Template Menu

  Opens the windows dialog to select a template file. The template can be any PDF document.

• 3. Stamps Menu

  Edit/Add - Switch the template mode from Edit to Add and vice versa
  
  Stamp Type - Choose the stamp type to use
    Text - stamp fixed or variable text on a page
    Barcode - stamp a barcode on a page
    Mask - draw a solid block of colour to mask an area of the page

• 4. Remove Button

  Click to remove a stamp.

• 5. Appearance Parameters

  Font name - Choose a font name for the stamp (text style stamps)
  
  Font size - Choose a font size
  
  Stamp colour - Choose a font colour
  
  Stamp type - Choose a stamp type
    Text - stamp fixed or variable text on a page
    Barcode - stamp a barcode on a page
    Mask - draw a solid block of colour to mask an area of the page
  
  Text alignment - Choose the alignment for text stamps

• 6. Data Parameters

  Text - enter the value for the stamp. This can be variable data or fixed text.
  
  For example
  
  DRAFT - stamp the word DRAFT
  
  or
  
  {Date():dd-MM-yyyy} - stamp today's date

• 7. Main Parameters

  Name - enter the name of the stamp

• 8. Position Parameters

  Coordinates - These show the coordinates of the stamp (from the zone that was drawn onto the template
  
  Dynamic coordinate expression - 
  
  First page only - True/False - Set to indicate whether the stamp is applied to the first page of each document or ALL pages

• 9. Image resizing tab

  When using page stamps it is possible to reduce the size of the image to accommodate the stamps to ensure that the stamps are not applied over existing data. The image is reduced by the selected percentage amount and anchored against the selected position
