The SMTP Mailer plug-in enables emails, with the scanned PDF attachmented, to be sent by email without needing an email client installed on the scanning PC and can be configured to send the email without any user intervention
1. Server
Enter the name of the SMTP server. This should be provided by your system administrator.
2. Port number
Enter the port number of the SMTP server.
3. User name
Enter the SMTP user name.
4. User password
Enter the SMTP password.
5. Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Check this box if the SMTP requires an SSL connection.
6. Disable NTLM transport
Windows Challenge/Response (NTLM) is the authentication protocol used on networks that include systems running the Windows operating system and on stand-alone systems.
Check this box to disable NTLM so it is not used on the SMTP connection.
7. Time out (in secs)
Enter the number of seconds to wait for a connection to the SMTP server. Once the time is exceeded a timeout error will be raised.
